Describe your reading or ritual offering

Give your tarot reading, astrology consultation, or ritual offering a clear description, from the first question to what someone receives.

Updated · Modern Mystic practice notes

What should a service description include?

Include who the service is for, the question or need it addresses, the format, what the client receives, timing, and the limits of follow-up. Make these details clear before inviting someone to book.

Start with the scope

Name the work plainly. Explain what the client can bring to the session and what falls outside its scope. A single-question reading and an open consultation should not sound identical.

Describe the format

Say whether the experience is live or delivered afterward, what the client receives, and how much preparation is involved. Use only details you can reliably deliver.

Make the boundaries visible

Set expectations about follow-up, revisions, and response times. Put these alongside the offering instead of hiding them in a later conversation.

An illustrative example

A fictional single-question tarot offering could read: “Send one question. Receive a written reflection within five working days. Includes one clarification by email within seven days of delivery; additional readings are separate.” This is a writing example, not a service sold by Modern Mystic.

Before you finish

  • Name one clear service and its intended audience.
  • Specify the deliverable and a realistic turnaround.
  • Explain what is included, excluded, and available afterward.

These are general workflow suggestions. Adapt them to your practice and commitments. Modern Mystic’s demo does not store client work or provide booking, payments, or delivery.
