Plan a new moon circle from invitation to closing
Shape a new moon circle around your chosen ritual, then plan the invitation, materials, and time to close together.
Updated · Modern Mystic practice notes
What should I include in a circle or gathering plan?
Define the participants, purpose, format, and boundaries first. Then list the venue or meeting link, materials, facilitation steps, timing, and any follow-up. Assign a person and deadline to each preparation task.
Define the invitation
Write who the gathering is for, what participants will do, and what they do not need to know in advance.
Make a preparation list
Separate the invitation, materials, space, and facilitation plan. Work back from the date to decide when each needs your attention.
Consider the ending
Decide how you will close the gathering and which resources, if any, participants should receive afterward. Make those commitments manageable.
An illustrative example
A fictional six-person new moon journaling circle might allow ten minutes for welcome and boundaries, twenty for individual writing, twenty for optional sharing, and ten for closing. The invitation should make clear that sharing is optional and describe any materials participants need.
Before you finish
- Write an invitation that explains participation and boundaries.
- Confirm the location or link and the materials needed.
- Set a preparation deadline and a clear closing activity.
These are general workflow suggestions. Adapt them to your practice and commitments. Modern Mystic’s demo does not store client work or provide booking, payments, or delivery.
